Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev handed Thursday the mandate for the formation of the next Bulgarian government to Boyko Borisov, leader of the Citizens of European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB), the party which won the early parliamentary elections held in Bulgaria on May 12. Borisov received the mandate and short after that returned it, because as he said his party did not stand any chance to establish a cabinet because of the insufficient number of MPs and the lack of support from the rest of the parliamentary represented parties.
