EC not probing Sopharma
Sofia. According to finance minister Simeon Dyankov and health ministry officials, the European Commission was not investigating Sopharma, as Brussels-based newspaper New Europe had earlier announced. That news was promptly circulated in Bulgaria by the media group around Corporate Commercial Bank (CCB) to divert the public attention from the actual probe Brussels was conducting on the state money kept with the lender.
