Sofia. The Bulgarian parliament is to discuss cancellation of Delyan Peevski’s election for State Agency for National Security (SANS) Chairman. Peevski was elected to the post on Friday, June 14, but did not assume office.
Sofia. For a fifth night in a row thousands of people across Bulgaria protested, calling for the resignation of Plamen Oresharski’s government. According to the latest information of the police, around 7,000 gathered in the streets of the capital Sofia on Tuesday evening. According to the protestors, however, they were much many. For more than four hours the protestors in Sofia were voicing their opinion and chanting “Resignation” and “Mafia” and booing the cabinet. Sao Paulo. Brazil's President Dilma Rousseff tried to get ahead of a wave of popular protest Tuesday, vowing to listen to the complaints of youths angered by the cost of staging the World Cup, AFP reported.
