Almaty. Six people have been killed in forest fires in northeastern Kazakhstan close to the border with Russia, the agriculture ministry said on Thursday, AFP reports.

Interior Minister: Magistrate detained within special police operation in Western Bulgaria
Pernik. A magistrate has been detained in the frames of a special police operation carried out in the Western town of Pernik, Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov announced for FOCUS News Agency.
