Sofia. The European Parliament on December 10 approved new rules that will ensure home buyers across the EU are fully informed of the real costs of taking on a mortgage, and properly protected against the worst risks. Consumers will be better informed, so they can choose the mortgage product which best meets their needs. The new rules will grant consumers a general right to repay their loans early, thereby benefiting from a reduction in the total remaining cost of the mortgage. Sega daily reports.
