7 November 2009 | 09:55 | FOCUS News Agency
Skopje. The liberalization of the visa regime for Macedonians concerns the short tourist or business trips, which lasted for 90 days at the most, in the frames of a six months, Macedonian Dnevnik newspaper writes. Macedonians should issue visa for longer stay, edition reads.
“Macedonia is to mark its first Christmas without visas. For the first time, since 1991, when Macedonians have traveled without visas in Europe, with passports of the former Yugoslavia, they ould travel without visas in the countries from the Schenden zone as of December 19. They will no longer loose time in the embassies. The European procedure on lifting visa regime, which has continued for several years, is becoming real. EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn has announced the perspective in Brussels several days ago.
