Reykjavik. Iceland's new Prime Minister Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson was to take office on Thursday, heading up a coalition government composed entirely of newcomers who have never served in a cabinet, AFP reported.

Sofia. “I have the firm belief that we will clear out all elements in the policies for the different sectors by Tuesday. I think I can propose the line-up of the Council of Ministers by May 28,” said Plamen Oresharski, who is nominated for prime minister by Coalition for Bulgaria – the second biggest political power in the Bulgarian parliament, which later on today will be given the mandate for formation of Bulgaria’s next government, FOCUS News Agency reporter informed.
