Mayor Fandakova to attend opening European Night of Museums in Bulgaria’s capital

Sofia. On the occasion of the European Night of Museums and Galleries Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova will take part in the official opening of the cultural event, which will take place at the National Gallery of Art at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 18. The event will be also attended by French Ambassador to Bulgaria, Philippe Autie, the press office of Sofia Municipality announced.

Sofia. “The tripartite coalition [former coalition of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), the Movement of Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and the National Movement for Stability and Progress, which did not enter the future 42nd National Assembly] is returning in power, probably with the same defects it used to have in the past,” said historian Bozhidar Dimitrov, Director of the National Museum of History, in an interview with FOCUS News Agency.
