Sofia. The Council on foreign policy and public diplomacy with the National Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) insists for President Rosen Plevneliev to stop all appointments of ambassadors of the Republic of Bulgaria abroad.
Sofia. “The name issue is not Macedonia’s major problem but rather the extreme nationalistic rhetoric and the policy of the current government,” said Bulgarian MEP Evgeni Kirilov with the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, the press office of his cabinet announced.
Sofia. “Yesterday I talked with the President and I informed him that the parliamentary group of Coalition for Bulgaria has decided to nominate Plamen Oresharski for prime minister. We are ready to accept the government formation mandate at any moment, right after Mr Borisov [leader of the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB), Boyko Borisov] returns it. We are absolutely ready to make this today and we will insist on it, because we have no time to lose,” said BSP leader Sergey Stansihev ahead of the consultations w
