Sofia. “Since June 2013 until now some 7,927 police officers from 27 district directorates of the Interior Ministry have been commissioned to the capital city Sofia for the protection of the citizen’s protests. The expenses made for the commissioning of extra police officers is estimated at BGN 234,882,” Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetlin Yovchev said during the question time at parliament, FOCUS News Agency reporter informed.
Sofia. “My appeal to the honourable “people’s political engineer” Boyko Borisov [leader of the oppositional Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) and former prime minister] is to abstain from implanting his personal political characteristics on Mr Dogan [Ahmed Dogan, honorary chairperson of the liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF)] or any other Bulgarian politician,” MRF Chairperson Lyutvi Mestan said speaking with journalists at parliament in a commentary on Borisov’s statement that the MRF was “behind th
