Heavy road accidents claimed 13 lives on Sunday. Four people have been killed in accident that occurred by 10.28am on Razgrad-Shumen road some 2km after the junction for Beli Lom village. Signal for the incident was received on 112 telephone number. A BMW car owned by 29-yaer-old man from coastal Varna undertook overtaking and collided head-on with a bus. As the result of the blow the car ran under the bus and the four passengers in the car died on the spot.
Another crash occurred on the road Harmanli-Lyubimets some 3km from Lyubimets by 4.30am when a car and a truck collided resulting in two dead men. The reason for the accident is high speed.
A young man died this early morning on the road between the villages Rogosh and Manole. An Opel Astra car crashed in a head-on colisioon with a roadside tree by 4.30am. The 28-year-old motorist from the town of Plovdiv has died on the spot.
A 50-year-old woman and 23-year-old man have died in a road accident by the town of Targovishte, press centre of the National Medical Coordination Centre informed. The accident occurred by 6.30pm when two cars collided. A man at the age of 54 and a girl at the age of 19 were injured. They were rushed to a hospital in Targovishte.
