We offer reliability to Chinese investors: Bulgaria’s President

Sofia. President Rosen Plevneliev received a delegation from the Chinese city of Shenzhen led by Mayor Xu Qin, which is paying a visit to Bulgaria in order to participate in the joint Bulgarian-Chinese Business forum “Plovdiv – Shenzhen: Investment and Cooperation Conference 2014” in the second biggest city Plovdiv, the press centre of the President’s Office announced.
Plovdiv and Shenzhen inked a twinning agreement in the frames of the visit.
In the words of Mayor Xu Qin, the delegation is here to give real life to the things agreed on by the Heads of State of Bulgaria and the People's Republic of China concerning the expansion of cooperation in all fields.
Shenzhen’s GDP reaches some USD 231 billion and GDP per capita is estimated at about USD 22,000.
Shenzhen allocates some 4% of its GDP for innovations and is centre where high-tech products are produced.
President Plevneliev stated he firmly supported every good idea and project which could contribute to the active partnership between Bulgaria and China.
“We offer a good proportion between costs and quality and reliability to Chinese investors through whom Bulgaria could step on a market offering some 800 million customers,“ Ms Plevneliev said, hailing the agreements reached between representatives of leading Bulgarian and Chinese companies at the Forum in Plovdiv.
