Dnevnik, Macedonia: Stevo Pendarovski wants boycott of presidential elections, Zoran Zaev is against17 April 2014 | 10:15 | FOCUS News Agency
“My personal opinion, if you would like to know it, is the elections need to be boycotted. But, you know, it is not me who makes the final decision concerning this,“ Mr Pendarovski said, speaking before party members.
According to rumours, he stated at meetings with citizens the elections results were not real and there had been vote-rigging.
Party members who commented at the meetings on the big difference in votes between Stevo Pendarovski and Gjorge Ivanov, candidate of the ruling VMRO-DPMNE, insisted he not participate in the second round of the elections.
In contrast to Pendarovski, Zoran Zaev says the SDSM will not boycott the elections and will remain until the end in the elections race.
