Weser Kurier: Excavations stand abandoned in Sofia downtown22 August 2014 | 09:14 | FOCUS News Agency
Small lakes have formed between the already excavated remains of ancient baths and houses of former rulers. In this rainy summer no institution has taken care to pump water and mud. On the site can not be seen any archaeologist. This is an "Eco-Reserve" joke passing teenagers.
At that we are not talking about a remote archaeological site in the Eastern Rhodope Mountains. The ancient Roman city of Serdica is located in Sofia downtown. "Serdica is my Rome", had said the Roman emperor Constantine the Great, who reigned from 306 to 337 years.
