Protesters block traffic at Bulgaria’s Danube Bridge 2 for 15 min

Vidin. Protesters against the construction of an automobile tire recycling facility in the village of Slanotran, district of Vidin, blocked the traffic along the Danube Bridge 2 for fifteen minutes, Radio FOCUS – Vidin reported.
Around 5 heavy-freight TIR trucks and two cars waited in a queue for the protesters to lift the blockade.
Around 150-200 people have joined the protest. The protesters are from 5 villages in the district of Vidin – Slanotran, Koshava, Kutovo, Antimovo and Gomotartsi. According to them, the facility will pose a risk at their health.

Protest against automobile tire recycling plant to be staged close to Bulgaria’s Danube Bridge 2

Vidin. A protest against the construction of an automobile tire recycling facility in the village of Slanotran will be held close to Danube Bridge 2 on Sunday, Radio FOCUS – Vidin reported.
The protesters plan to block the access to the road facility.
This will be the second protest against the tire facility. The first one was held on June 28. It attracted around 120 people from 5 villages in the district of Vidin – Slanotran, Koshava, Kutovo, Antimovo and Gomotartsi.
