Mustafa Karadaya, MRF: If Valeri Simeonov does not resign, the whole government should resign

Sofia. If Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov does not resign, the entire government resigns – this is the practice in normal democracies, Mustafa Karadaya, chairman of political party Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), said at a briefing in the Parliament, quoted by FOCUS News Agency.
In Bulgaria, the nationalists unnecessarily participate in the government, Karadaya said, accusing ruling party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB/GERB) of trying to legitimate the nationalists and sometimes even imitate them.
He said the resignation of Anton Todorov as MP was the right decision, as he threatened media and journalists. However, Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov did the same, in TV studios and through the government’s press service, Karadaya stressed.
He criticised Simeonov and Krasimir Velchev, chairman of the parliamentary committee on religion and human rights, for hate and xenophobic speech.
