Sofia. Ruling party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB/GERB) stood behind Interior Minister Valentin Radev and Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov and rejected the demand from Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) for their immediate resignation. “At the time of the shooting of Elena Yoncheva’s documentary, which shows refugees with stairs at some parts of the border fence, the fence was not handed over as a completed facility to border police,” GERB MP Danail Kirilov said, quoted by FOCUS News Agency.
All speculations about a refugee wave and processes on the Bulgarian-Turkish border that threaten the state’s integrity and sovereignty are unfounded, he stated at a press conference in the Parliament.
