Prof. Mladen Grigorov, cardiologist: Mass supply of generic drugs is possible solution to problem with moratorium on new drugs11 December 2017 | 13:04 | FOCUS News Agency
Sofia. The mass supply of generic medications is one of the possible solutions to the problem with the moratorium on new medicines for 2018, cardiologist Prof. Mladen Grigorov told FOCUS Radio this morning. “The other thing, which is very ill-suited, is the halting of new methodologies – this is much worse than the drug issue,” he added. There is some substitute to almost every medicine, but things are different with new technological diagnostic methodologies, and without accurate diagnostics there is no accurate treatment, he explained. Therefore halting the introduction of new medical methodologies is a much more serious problem, according to Mladen Grigorov. He said President Rumen Radev's veto on the moratorium was the right move.Open in new tab
