The tourism ministers of the Organisation of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) adopted a declaration to work for the creation of a Black Sea brand and to develop cruise tourism in the region, Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said after the meeting, Focus Radio
has reported. The declaration states that the countries will collaborate to create joint cultural routes. The development of the Silk Road initiative of the World Tourism Organisation will continue, the minister added. She further said that a meeting on cruise tourism in Turkey would outline joint routes. Bulgaria will participate in a wine-culinary route in the Black Sea that will be upgraded to include sites from UNESCO’s cultural heritage list.
