Sofia. A new advisory council to the Ministry of Economy will be responsible for the cooperation between the state institutions and the companies trading in fuel, according to conclusively approved texts of the law regulating the sector, Focus News Agency reports. The council will include representatives of several institutions and will be chaired by the Minister of Economy.
The law sets requirements for registration of fuel traders as well as farmers with own fuel supply facilities. The MPs obliged the traders to provide collateral when applying for registration so as to secure payments due under this and other laws. The collateral will stand at BGN 500,000 for oil and fuel wholesale and BGN 20,000 for fuel retailers.
