At a meeting with coalition partners on Monday, Ataka will raise the issue of reforms and restructuring in the Ministry of Interior, party leader Volen Siderov told reporters in connection with a meeting of Ataka MPs with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Focus News Agency
reports. Siderov said his colleagues requested the meeting to discuss legislation and relations between United Patriots and GERB, and within the Patriots coalition. Asked if Svetlozar Lazarov could be Ataka’s nomination for Interior Ministry Secretary General, Siderov confirmed that his party has a candidate for the position but not the name. He said the police should focus on offences against the person and corruption.
